Reddit Debates Which Texas City Needs to be Nuked
Does Reddit think your city needs to be nuked?
To be honest with you, I fully expected Wichita Falls to be mentioned when a Redditor posted the hypothetical situation in which you had to nuke one Texas city, which would you choose and why?
And I was right. In fact, it was mentioned more than once.
My argument against nuking the city I live in is that first, well, I would rather my home not be wiped off the face of the Earth. Second, nuking this town would also result in the destruction of Sheppard Air Force Base. Seeing as every member of the Air Force trains there, it would set the Air Force way back.
Many of the folks commenting on the post thought Odessa was worthy of a nuclear strike. However, I’ve never been there so I can’t make an argument either way.
Of course, the big cities of Dallas, Houston, and Austin received plenty of mentions.

Austin received the most hate on the post, mostly by those who despise smelly, liberal hipsters. Trust me, I get it. But there’s way too much good food in our state capital, so that’s a no-go for me.
As a fan of all the professional Dallas-Fort Worth sports teams who has no desire to root for Houston teams (especially the Astros), I’m going to have to vote against that one.
Which leads me to my next point. While I don’t necessarily hate the Texans or the Rockets, I have no love whatsoever for the Astros. So yeah, nuke it.
You gotta nuke one Texas city, which one y'all picking and why?
