Dallas Cowboys Fan Makes Bold Statement During NFL Draft
This fan is saying what a whole lot of people have been thinking for a long time.
First and foremost, I want to make it clear that I like Jerry Jones. Always have. Sure, he’s ticked me off on more than one occasion (starting with firing the legendary Tom Landry on the golf course, of all places).
But surely we can agree that he is a great businessman. He’s done a lot of great things for the Cowboys over the years.

And as someone who enjoys a stiff drink, I would love to hang out with him sometime. Sure, we would probably wind up at an Oklahoma strip club at 1:00 am, but hopefully, my wife could find it in her heart to forgive me.
However, like many others, I’ve questioned much of the decision-making in that organization and it all starts with him. This offseason has been particularly frustrating.
That said, I don’t agree with the fan who held up a sign telling him to sell the team last night at The Star in Frisco during Round 1 of the draft.
I’m no football expert, but the word I keep hearing from the experts is that Stephen Jones and Will McClay would do a damn good job of running that organization together.
Maybe that would solve the problem. But I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it to happen.
