Retro GameStops Are Coming To North Texas
GameStop recently announced they would be turning some locations into GameStop Retro and several of those locations are in North Texas.
Call me immature, nerdy, or whatever you want, but I still love video games. I usually have at least one game that I play on a regular basis.
These days it’s all about EA Sports College Football 25 for me. But I’ll be the first to admit that I’m nowhere near playing the game on Heisman, the most difficult setting.
Several friends my age have cited the fact that games have gotten much harder over the years as the reason why they quit playing. I get that. As much as I want to, I can’t play NBA 2K because I just can’t seem to get the hang of it.
So maybe it’s time to dust off the old consoles and get back into gaming.
Of course, there are many options for those who would rather play on their old consoles. You can find just about any game you want online.
But there’s something about roaming about a video game store looking for a new game. Not to mention the fact that I would much rather support stores that only specialize in video games, rather than big box stores.
If that’s where you’re at and you’re into retro gaming, you’re going to want to make the trip to the following North Texas GameStop locations to get your retro fix:
Quail Creek Shopping Center, 3201 Lawrence Rd Ste 550, Wichita Falls, TX, 76308
The Parks at Arlington Mall, 3811 S Cooper St Ste 2400, Arlington, TX, 76015
Glade Road Town Center, 1301 W Glade Rd Ste 164, Euless, TX, 76039
Timber Creek Crossing, 6176 Retail Rd Ste 300 Dallas, TX, 75231
Twin Creeks Village, 816 W McDermott Dr Ste 328, Allen, TX, 75013
