If you’re a foodie who likes to indulge from time to time, you’ll want to make it a point to try the most expensive restaurant in Texas. There are many upscale restaurants across the Lone Star State, but thanks to the folks at loveFood, we know Tatsu Dallas is the priciest of them all.

I’ve been accused of being a foodie, and maybe that’s true to an extent. But the truth is that I have pretty simple tastes. You’re more likely to find me in a divey burger joint than an upscale restaurant.

However, every now and then I like to step outside my comfort zone and go for something a little more fancy. So, a night at Tatsu Dallas isn’t out of the question – even though my bank account will be taking a hefty hit. But hey – you get what you pay for, right?

Serving just 20 guests per night, the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant is as exclusive as it gets. Consider yourself lucky if you’re able to reserve a spot on the guest list. Here’s what you can expect, according to loveFood:

For $185 diners enjoy an omakase experience with a seasonal tasting menu consisting of one or two appetizers, 13-15 pieces of nigiri-style sushi, a hand roll, miso soup, and dessert.

Tatsu Dallas is located in the Continental Gin Building at 3309 Elm Street. If you’re ready to see what the fuss is all about, book your reservation here.
