Wichita Falls Non Profits Getting Ready for Annual Texoma Gives Day

Next week is a heartwarming day in Wichita Falls, Texoma Gives. Over 150 non-profits will be asking for donations and here is how you can help.

Wayne Reed Stops By the Studio to Talk About Texoma Gives

Wayne Reed with KFDX/KJTL stopped by our studio this week to talk about the annual Texoma Gives. For years The Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation put on Texoma Gives the first Thursday of September. Back in 2025, they announced they were no longer going to put on the event and KFDX/KJTL stepped up take over. Wayne Reed said it was an event that they felt needed to continue on in Wichita Falls and they were happy to keep the tradition going on.

Now technically the big day is next Thursday. However, I learned from Wayne you can start donating right now! You don't have to wait til Thursday to make a donation to your favorite non-profit in Wichita Falls. I was telling Wayne how we always help out Hospice of Wichita Falls with our annual Radio Day in December. The Humane Society of Wichita County is another worthy cause for all you animal lovers out there. River Bend Nature Center is great education area for families in Wichita Falls to visit. Wichita Falls Area Crime Stoppers is also another organization I have worked with in the past.
