Obviously the big event for the Hotter'N Hell Hundred is the big 100 mile ride on August 29th. It was once again named the best cycling event in the country by USA Today. The Hotter'N Hell Hundred actually has a full weekend of events for your kids to take part in and check out. The first one is actually coming up this Saturday!
HH100 10K Pre-Ride on August 22nd
Did you know that kids can ride in the Hotter'N Hell Hundred 10K for free? They just need an adult to register with them and the kids can ride for free. If you don't know how the Hotter'N Hell Hundred works. That Saturday morning, the different lengths of the ride all line up on Scott Avenue. It will be thousands upon thousands of people. If it's your first time, it can be a little intimidating. So the Wichita County Health District will do a pre-ride this Saturday at 8:30AM. Just meet at The Duck Coffee Shop downtown and scan the QR code above to register. Think of it as a practice round before the big ride next Saturday.

Kids Can Ride for Free in the 10K with an Adult August 29th
Without a doubt the biggest day of Hotter'N Hell Hundred weekend is the Saturday. That's the day of the big 100 mile ride. If you can't do 100 miles, they also offer 75 miles, 100K, 50 Miles, 25 Miles, or a 10K. A 10K is just over six miles and kids can do it for free with an adult. Adults and kids can register here.
For those with kids that have no interest in cycling. I highly recommend checking out Finish Line Village near Kay Yeager Coliseum. It's where all the riders will be coming in after the ride. They have live music and food as well for families to enjoy. You can go to Finish Line Village for free to check out everything it has to offer next Saturday.
