Wichita Falls Teachers, Enroll Your Class in the Pizza Hut Book It Program

Pizza Hut has brought back their iconic 'Book It' program and teachers are being asked to enroll their classrooms starting next week.

Who remembers being in elementary school and if you completed a certain task you would be rewarded with a pizza party? That was the same thinking that went into Pizza Hut's 'Book It' back in 1984. Encourage kids to read books and once they do, they earn a free personal pan pizza. Well Pizza Hut is still doing this all these years later, but teachers have to enroll their class.

How Do Teachers Sign Up for Book It?

Enrollment starts September 1st. The program will run from October through March. You as the teacher set a reading goal for your class. If a student accomplishes that goal, they can earn one personal pan pizza every month. Grades Pre-K through 6th are eligible to sign up for the program. Teachers, use your school provided email to setup your classroom.

Homeschool Teachers in Wichita Falls Can Sign Up As Well

If you're someone that has decided to homeschool your child, you obviously do not have a school email. However, they can still sign up for the Book It program, you just need to use the Book It App to sign up instead. It is available on Google Play or the Apple App Store. More info here.

It's estimated that 70 million kids have been a part of the Book It program since it started in 1984. I have fond memories of reading books as a kid and earning that little pizza. I'm glad to see this latest generation can continue on this epic tradition.
