I’ve always known Texas is full of hard-working people. So, I wasn’t surprised to learn that four Texas cities were among the hardest working in the country. However, we’re all about bragging rights here in the Lone Star State, so let’s talk about the hardest-working city in the state. 

While I always joke about how this job beats working, admittedly, there are times when it feels like work. Like many professionals in this day and age, I have a flexible work schedule. It’s awesome to be able to work when and where I want to, but the workload gets to be a bit hefty at times.

When I think about hard work, blue-collar jobs like construction and landscaping immediately come to mind. But white-collar jobs can work you pretty hard, too. If you’ve ever experienced mental fatigue or burnout, you know what I’m talking about. 

So, it makes sense that Fort Worth was found to be the hardest-working city in Texas, according to Clarify Capital. It’s certainly the most blue-collar big city in the state, but there are plenty of white-collar professionals putting in long hours in those high-rises downtown and beyond. 

If you’re one of those folks, take pride in the fact that you’re willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right. But be sure to take some time to decompress and relax. You’ve earned it.
