Annual Wichita Falls Bike Ride Getting Collectible Medals That Build the State of Texas
The Hotter'N Hell Hundred will be trying something new in 2026 and if you want to complete the set, you have to ride the next six years.
The last weekend every August has become a Wichita Falls tradition at this point. The Hotter'N Hell Hundred has pushed many riders throughout the years to that finish line. Once you finish the ride, you have been handed a medal. Well this year's medal will look a little different.
2026 Hotter'N Hell Medal
The organizers for the annual ride just announced that the medal this year will be a different piece of Texas. The first piece earned this year will be a portion of North Texas and East Texas. Then in 2027 you will earn Central and Southwest Texas. 2028 will be West Texas. 2029 will be the Panhandle. 2030 Northwest Texas, and finally 2031 will be South Texas.
How Do You Register for the Hotter'N Hell Hundred?
For those interested in riding this year for the first piece of the puzzle. You can sign up on the Hotter'N Hell website. Remember, they do more than just the 100 mile ride that everyone talks about. They also offer a 75 Mile, 100K, 50 Mile, 25 Mile and 10K. No matter what length you take, you will receive a medal.
When is the Hotter'N Hell Hundred for 2026?
This year the big ride takes place on August 29th, 2026. Remember the Hotter'N Hell Hundred has events that entire weekend starting on the 27th. You can get the full schedule of everything that is going down on their website.
