A high-speed police chase in Mesquite, Texas looked like a scene straight out of GTA.

Is it just me or do we have an epidemic of people running from the law here in North Texas? It feels like I come across a video of someone trying to escape custody about every other day.

I will admit that while I would hate to be in the vicinity of a high-speed chase, they’re kind of fun to watch from a safe distance. Mostly because I’m glad it’s not me that’s running from the cops.

Not that I see myself ever doing that. I’m a firm believer in accepting your punishment and getting it over with. While it may prolong your freedom, running will only make things worse in the end.

Anyway, the latest police chase video features a black car getting sideways in the middle of an intersection right before the inhabitants of it take off running on foot. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see how everything ended.

But I did get a kick out of the guy filming the video. It’s funny because he’s kind of freaking out over what’s going down in front of him, but not so much that he’s unable to give us an accurate play-by-play of the situation.
