These frigid temperatures we’ve been experiencing in Texas lately are having some wild effects. 

Just yesterday, I posted about a snow devil that was spotted moving across Lake Lewisville. That’s probably the most unexpected thing that’s come out of this wild winter weather. 

One thing we all can count on when the temperature plummets is for pipes to burst. There’s nothing uncommon about that.

However, I can’t recall a busted pipe that caused a scene like the water main that broke in Carrollton.

The video below shows water shooting straight up into the air and freezing almost immediately after making impact with the power lines and the street, creating a scene straight out of Alaska. Which, if I’m being honest, is where it feels like we’ve been this week. 

Spring can’t get here fast enough.
