Thieves Use Pickup to Steal ATM From Texas 7-Eleven
A pair of thieves were able to use a pickup to yank an ATM away from a 7-Eleven in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The boldness of criminals these days never ceases to amaze me. But I guess if you’re desperate, you don’t care who sees you committing a crime as long as no one can identify you (unless that someone happens to be a cop, of course).
Not that criminals haven’t always been bold. I mean, knowingly committing a crime that could land you in prison for a long time is pretty damn bold.
It’s just that these days, everyone is walking around with a video camera on them. And from what I’ve seen on social media, most folks’ first instinct is to break that bad boy out and start filming when they see something shady going down.
And it doesn’t get much shadier than attaching a chain to a pickup to rip an ATM off the concrete right there in front of God and everybody.
The good news is that if you happen to know anything about the crime, you could earn a cash reward by submitting a tip to Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County.
