Video Shows the Moment Motorcycle Rider Struck by Car in Dallas

A frightening video out of Dallas shows a car sending a guy on a motorcycle flying. 

I’m not going to lie to you, I freaked out a little bit the first time I watched the video. Like so many people commenting on the clip on X, I thought the rider was bleeding out. It turns out it was oil coming from the motorcycle as you see him walk past the camera at the end.

Some of the best advice I’ve heard from people who ride is that you have to adopt the mentality that the other vehicles on the road are trying to hit you. You must be extra vigilant when you’re on a bike. 

For my money, it’s a good thing the video is making the rounds on social media. If it only gets one rider’s attention and causes them to be more cautious, it’s a good thing. You never know, it just might save a life.
