The Grinch Arrested for Attempting to Steal From Texas H-E-B

The Grinch was nabbed while trying to steal from a Texas H-E-B. 

I really, really want to believe this is real and not staged. So, until someone tells me otherwise, I’m going to assume a guy wearing a Grinch costume was arrested for attempted theft. 

I guess one could accuse the employees of profiling. I know I would keep a close eye on The Grinch if he were in my store. I mean, stealing is what he’s known for.

Someone commenting on the clip pointed out that it was constables who made the arrest, so it’s likely the guy had a warrant. That makes sense to me – especially if the warrant was for theft. 

And can you imagine what it would feel like to be booked into jail dressed as The Grinch? There’s no way the jailers could keep a straight face during the process. I know I wouldn’t be able to. 

Hopefully, they’ll keep him in the slammer until after Christmas. Otherwise, he just might ruin Christmas for someone.
