Firefighter Who Saved His Own Family Gets $15,000 Donation from Taylor Swift

Aaron Von Riper's family sparked national interest when the volunteer firefighter unknowingly responded to an accident involving his own wife and son.  Today, Von Riper's family is back in the headlines after receiving a generous donation from Taylor Swift to help with medical bills.

Family friends started a GoFundMe account to help the family with the mounting medical bills.  Aaron's son has already been released from the hospital, but his wife Amber is still needing care.  Wednesday night, a $15,000 donation was made on the Von Riper's account under the name "Taylor Swift", which has since been confirmed to be the real Taylor Swift.

Along with Swift, over 2,000 others have donated $95,000 to the Von Riper family (at time of posting).
