Del Rio Resident Scores Massive $1 Million Lottery Prize
It’s party time for a Del Rio resident, thanks to the Texas Lottery. I’m not sure how I would react if I scratched a ticket and realized I had instantly become a millionaire. I probably wouldn’t believe it was true until I had the money in my bank account.
However, that life-changing amount of money is 100 percent reality for the anonymous Del Rio resident who scored $1 million in the Queen of Spades scratch ticket game. They bought the lucky ticket at Easy Mart and Gas, located at 101 Charles Drive, in Del Rio, according to a press release.

There’s a good chance that the winner won’t be the only one to cash a big paycheck. Easy Mart and Gas is eligible to win a $10,000 bonus through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program for selling the lucky ticket.
If you don’t mind parting ways with a $20 bill, you could be the next to win $1 million in the Queen of Spades game. That was only the first of four $1 million prizes to be claimed in the game.
And hey, I would be more than happy to suddenly come into $20,000, thanks to a scratch-off. As of this post, there are still 17 $20,000 prizes to be claimed in Queen of Spades. The odds of winning a prize in the game are one in 3.88, including break-even prizes.
Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
