A popular drive in not too far away from us in Texoma has announced their will be some massive changes in the next few months.

When it comes to drive in movie theaters near us in Wichita Falls. We have two options not too far away from us. The Graham Drive In right here in Texas and the Chief Drive In just outside of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Both of these places make for a great getaway on the weekends. Sadly, the Chief announced they will be closed for a period of time over the next few months.

Drilling Taking Place Behind the Chief Drive In

Looks like right behind the property of the Chief Drive In an oil company plans to do some digging. Obviously with the drilling rig running this will cause some excess noise that will ruin your outdoor movie experience. Also lights from the property will be shining behind you which will be distracting as well. So the oil company and the drive in have come to an agreement which allows them to complete their work.

Good News! Updates Coming to the Chief Drive In

While being shut down with this oil operation, the Chief Drive In says they plan on doing some updates to their operation. They could be closed at least the next four months, but if you live in the Chickasha area, they plan on opening for lunches or dinner nights to make some extra cash, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for more.
