Some residents of Garland, Texas are having a little fun with a gas station whose canopy has been laid over for several weeks now.

I assume the canopy was damaged by high winds, but for all I know, it could’ve just fallen over one day. As unlikely as that is, it does happen. Which is quite terrifying.

Whatever the case may be, it’s hard to believe ownership has allowed it to remain in that condition. And if I were the owner of the SUV that’s trapped under it, I would want some answers.

My best guess is that the owners are waiting on their insurance company. Which has to be infuriating as they haven’t been able to sell gas for weeks. You know they’re losing a ton of revenue.

You would think at some point the city would step in due to safety concerns. Not to mention that it’s a black eye for the city. That’s not the image I would want to project if I were running that town.
