Whataburger is Upping Their Game with New Chili Cheese Fries

It just keeps getting better and better with Whataburger.

Just last month, my favorite fast-food burger joint introduced the new Chili Cheese Burger. Of course, being a fan of Whataburger as well as chili and cheese, I tried one the day I heard the news and for my money, it’s the best thing they’ve ever done (which says a lot, considering they’ve introduced many great creations over the years).

When I shared the news, I wrote that I hoped it was just the beginning of a line of Whataburger chili cheese products. In particular, I thought adding chili and cheese to their fries would take them to a whole new level.

And now they’ve gone and done just that.

The only bummer is that, just like the Chili Cheese Burger, they’re available for a limited time only. Don’t get me wrong – I’m glad to have them, even if it’s only for a limited time. But this is Texas, where chili is king. So maybe they’ll reconsider and eventually add their Chili Cheese Burger and Fries to the menu on a full-time basis.

Whataburger has been on a roll over the last few years when it comes to new products. They’ve introduced several new items to the menu that I love, including the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich, the Dr. Pepper Shake, and one of their newest creations, the Breakfast Bowl.

It’ll be interesting to see what Whataburger has up its sleeve here in the future. I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next.
