Whataburger is one of the most popular fast food restaurants in Texas, but Demery Ardell Wilson in Houston is upset with a location in his area. Apparently when he placed his order, he specifically asked for no onions. The lawsuit does not mention Wilson's order, but many of the burgers do come with onions. Apparently Wilson is allergic to onions and placed his order telling them to be taken off. Looks like he assumed they were not there, went to enjoy his meal, and he allegedly suffered an allergic reaction.

A petition was filed in Texas’ 269th Judicial District Court of Harris County on April 25 claimed that Whataburger “failed to act in accordance with the appropriate standard of care,” causing Wilson to “suffer personal injuries.” Wilson is seeking somewhere between $250,000 and one million dollars in damages. He claims he was required to seek medical attention after eating the meal. We will wait and see if this lawsuit goes anywhere.

According to several sources, this is not the first time that something like this has happened to Wilson. Apparently he's also sued Sonic Drive In for a similar situation back in 2023.
