I’m going to let you in on a little secret – I was a pretty wild young man. I loved to raise hell. But hellraisers sometimes find themselves behind bars. 

So, yeah. I’ve spent a night or two in a jail cell.

However, as much as I did not want to face the consequences of my actions, the thought of running from the police never once crossed my mind. Even younger, wilder me knew that would only make things worse. 

But some folks aren’t of the same mindset. I guess they would rather take their chances in hopes of getting away scot-free. Spoiler alert: that rarely ever happens. 

And in this day and age when everyone has a video camera in their pocket and their first instinct is to reach for it and start filming as soon as chaos breaks out, the chances of not suffering the consequences of breaking the law are slim to none. 

The best part of everyone filming chaos is that we all get to point and laugh at those who do something stupid (thank God smartphones weren’t around when I was younger). So, sit back and have a good laugh at the guy who did a faceplant after getting tased while running from the cops in Tyler.
