Wichita Falls police had an early call Wednesday morning and it looks like a suspect used a gumball machine during a fight.

Time for another bizarre Wichita Falls arrest. Police were called out to the 1000 block of Covington Lane just after 2AM on Wednesday. Police were getting calls about a disturbance at a residence. When police arrived, they found 39-year-old Jermarcus Jermal Williams in the front yard. He had blood on his hands and police began questioning him about what was going on.

Wichita Falls Man Pulls Knife During Argument

The victim told police that Williams and her were arguing. At one point, she asked him to leave. During the argument, Williams went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. The victim was able to get the knife away from Williams after a struggle. When the victim had the knife. Williams grabbed a three foot tall metal gumball machine and threw it at the daughter of the victim striking her in the head.

Williams was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and also injury to a child for the gumball machine throw. Williams is being held on a $175,000 bond. KFDX reports this is not Williams first arrest on his record for assault. He has seven prior assault or violent crimes charges. He has been arrested 25 times in the past two decades.
