Tiny Texas Town is Home to Top Spot for RV Campers

A small Texas town found its way onto a list of the best spots for RV campers in the United States. 

For road trippers like me, owning an RV is like the Holy Grail. There is no better way to see the country, in my opinion. 

You see, I’m one of those people who doesn’t like sleeping in hotels. I would much rather sleep in my own bed.

But as I mentioned earlier, I love road trips. So, unless I’m making a day trip, I have no choice but to sleep in a hotel (well, I guess I could sleep in the car, but that’s even worse). 

That’s exactly why owning an RV is so appealing to me. I love the thought of having a little mobile home that I can drag (or drive) across the country. 

Even though RV ownership isn’t in the immediate future for me, I’m always interested when I come across a list of the best places to go camping. 

The folks behind the camping app The Dyrt teamed up with State Farm to determine which RV camping facilities were the best in the country. The good news for us Texans is that we have one of the best right here in the Lone Star State. 

The study found RoadRunner Travelers RV Park to be the 2nd best spot for RV campers. Located in Terlingua in the Big Bend region, the park is only four miles from Big Bend National Park:
