Ring Camera Shows Attempted Dallas Jewelry Store Burglary

A Ring doorbell camera foiled an early morning burglary at a Dallas jewelry store today. 

At first, it appears the suspect was going to make his way into the store. However, toward the end of the video you can hear who I would assume is the store owner telling him he’s calling the cops. 

Probably the craziest thing about the video is that he parked his car in plain view of the camera. I can’t make out the license plate number, but I would be willing to bet the police are able to. Of course, the vehicle could be stolen, so there’s that.

Even if the vehicle was stolen, the guy made no attempt to cover his face. So, I fully expect the police to eventually apprehend him. 

Of course, pessimists are commenting on the video, claiming the Dallas police won’t even look for him. But I seriously doubt it. I’m of the same mindset as the person who commented that he would be arrested by the end of the day. 

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
