So many Halloween events this weekend, but here's another you may want to check out.

Kell House Museum Haunted Tours Back this Saturday

The Kell House has been turned into a museum here in Wichita Falls. Originally owned by Frank Kell, one of the prominent businessmen that helped put Wichita Falls on the map back in the day. Frank Kell made a lot of money in Wichita Falls thanks to the railroads, flour milling, and oil. In 1910, he finished this massive property at 900 Bluff Street overlooking Wichita Falls.

Tragedy Strikes Frank Kell Upon Moving Into the Kell House

One of the more famous statues in Wichita Falls is the crying bride at Riverside Cemetery. Which is a grave marker for Frank's daughter, Flora. She sadly passed away in 1910 at just twenty-years-old. Flora's death has two stories in Wichita Falls. Some say, she died on her wedding day tripping down the stairs at the Kell House. Others say she died from typhoid in the Kell House. Either way, people believe the Kell House is haunted due to one of these events.

Paranormal Activity at the Kell House?

Some have claimed to see shadows moving in the windows of the Kell House when the property is closed at night. Others have seen doors shut on their own, hear strange noises, or see mysterious shadows in hallways. Once a year, the Kell House Museum offers haunted tours and that is going on this Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. A tour guide will take you through the property and discuss some of the alleged paranormal activity that has happened throughout the years. Tickets are $8 if you dare to enter this Saturday.
