It's that time of year again guys, time to take some caution while driving around when the weather gets cold.

We have been hammered by rain the past couple of days. I have seen a few people saying they have seen freezing rain or sleet in the area as well. Tonight we're projected to be right at the freezing point. So take some caution if you're driving in the early morning.

The three states most impacted the past few days have been all in our area. Four people were killed in floods in North Texas, WFAA-TV reported. At least five others died as a result of accidents related to ice storms in Kansas and Oklahoma, the Associated Press reported.

Ice accumulation was up to an inch thick in north central Oklahoma on one of the nation's busiest travel weekends. About 100 crashes were reported in the Texas panhandle and south Plains through late Friday. Remember, when the weather gets bad like this, SLOW DOWN and take some caution while driving.
