It Was So Cold in Wichita Falls, You Could Ice Skate to Work
A local meteorologist wanted folks to take the ice on the roads seriously and showed that he could literally ice skate to work over the weekend.
While the snow and freezing rain has stopped in Wichita Falls, the temperature is still below freezing. The sun is out on this Monday, but the ice on the roads isn't going away anytime soon. Chief meteorologist Michael Bohling with KFDX wanted to show the ice situation in Wichita Falls over the weekend and literally ice skated to work.
@KyleStormChaser on X shared the footage of Michael ice skating down Seymour Highway this weekend. This is not the first time that Michael has gone viral with his ice skates.

Wichita Falls Sets Record for Coldest High Temperature
It was a brutally cold day yesterday and it actually set a record. According to futurecasts, Wichita Falls will barely be above freezing tomorrow and Wednesday is more of the same. Our best chances for thawing up come on Thursday. Good news though, highs in the 50's one week from today. So if you hate the cold, just got to survive a few more days. Warmer weather is on the way.
