Looking to have a speeding ticket in Texas dismissed? Don’t waste your time if any of these factors apply.

Knock on wood, but I’ve never got a ticket for speeding. Sure, I’ve gone over the speed limit in my days of driving, but I don’t typically drive more than a few miles per hour over the speed limit, if at all.

But there are a lot of lead-footed people running around the Lone Star State. They fly past me every day when I’m on the road.

I figure some people simply like to drive fast. I get that. However, it’s not worth risking the safety of yourself and others or getting a speeding ticket.

But I also have a certain family member who is always running late. And I mean always running late. So, of course, they drive like a bat out of hell 100% of the time.

If you fall into either of the aforementioned categories, you’re probably no stranger to speeding tickets. So, you may already know all the ins and outs of having one dismissed. But I figure since you’re reading this, you may not.

If that’s the case, I have the skinny on what factors guarantee a speeding ticket will never be dismissed, thanks to TicketSchool.

3 Ways You'll Never Get Out of a Speeding Ticket in Texas

  • Driving 25mph or more over the speed limit
  • Driving 95mph or faster
  • Violating rules in a construction or school zone

Now that you’re armed with that knowledge, maybe slow it down a bit from now on and be extra careful in school and work zones.
