Texas Country Reporter on Wichita Trucks

For several decades, The Texas Country Reporter has tracked down unique pieces of Texas history and recently they did a segment on a man named John Chadwell that had a Wichita Truck, but also I discovered the first truck is currently sitting in the old manufacturing building.

If you try to find a Wichita Truck nowadays, it will most likely be rusted after sitting in the sun for close to 100 years. This one has been sitting in the original factory since the day it was produced. Crazy to think at one point in time, Wichita Falls had one of the best trucks in America.
