I saw today that a Wichita Falls man will be competing in tonight's episode. So I decided to reach out to Damon on Facebook about the show.

Damon Sayles Born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1976

Damon told me he grew up in Wichita Falls from 1976 until he was a sophomore in 1993. He moved to West Texas after that. Apparently Damon is competing on the show to honor his aunt who recently passed away in January. When he was growing up, Damon and his aunt would always watch 'Wheel of Fortune'. The two would always try to solve the puzzles together. After her passing, Damon made an appreciation tape for his aunt which included their love for 'Wheel of Fortune'. This helped Damon get on the show and his episode is airing tonight.

Bad News for Wheel Fans in Wichita Falls, Debate Coverage

KAUZ is our home for Wheel of Fortune in Wichita Falls. Tonight when Wheel of Fortune is supposed to be airing at 6:30, they will be holding a debate for the two candidates in the runoff election for the Wichita Falls City Councilor At-Large. I reached out to KAUZ and they told me the episode will be airing at 1AM tonight. So set that DVR to cheer on Damon. Hopefully he makes some money on that wheel!
