Thanks To Metal Injection for coming across this video of Rage Against the Machine's first ever public show. It's not technically their first show since, according to Tom Morello, the band had actually played a living room party prior to this performance.

I was literally captivated by the honesty of the video. Knowing what we know now and watching people casually walk past totally unaware that they're witnessing the genesis of a now legendary band. Let it be a lesson to up-and-coming bands to keep your heads up and deliver your best performance regardless if their are two or two thousand people in front of you.
