The Voice of Mr. Burns and Ned Flanders will be leaving

I am a huge 'Simpsons' nerd so I knew that only a couple people actually do a BUNCH of the voices on the show. Looks like a ton of shoes will need to be filled with Harry Shearer leaving the show.

Fox has apparently not renewed the contract of long time voice actor to 'The Simpsons', Harry Shearer. “From [Simpsons executive producer] James L. Brooks’ lawyer: 'Show will go on, Harry will not be part of it, wish him the best,’” Shearer tweeted, adding in a second post: “This because I wanted what we’ve always had: the freedom to do other work. Of course, I wish him the very best.”

I am going to say you have three main people doing the majority of the voices on 'The Simpsons'. Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria and Dan Castellaneta. Hank's big ones are Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (Yes had to Google to see how that was spelled), Moe Szyslak and Chief Wiggum. Dan's big characters are Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown and Barney Gumble.

I wish Harry Shearer the best of luck in whatever he goes on to do. I wish it was with 'The Simpsons' but not everything can work out I guess. Oh yeah one quick complaint. How come no local channel in Wichita Falls plays 'Simpsons' re-runs throughout the week? Someone get on this.
