Being a part of Cowboys nation is an amazing thing. One fan was finally able to see his favorite team in action.

Rob Routly is currently in hospice care fighting Huntington's disease. This disease causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brain for which there’s no known cure. Even while battling this disease, Rob can still recite off scores and facts about his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys.

Rob actually grew up in Michigan, even with all of his family rooting for other teams. Rob always stayed loyal to America's team. Later in his life, Rob's family moved to Texas and he was able to root for the home team the first time in his life. Sadly Rob never got the opportunity to go to a game.

Everybody knew Rob wanted to go to a game just once in his life. A nurse told Rob's story on her Facebook page. Well thanks to an anonymous donor, Rob got tickets to the game. Not just tickets for him, but also his entire care team at the hospice facility he stays at. Rob stayed in style as well, by getting a suite and refreshments included.

Rob attended the game this past Sunday night when the Boys took on the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys dominated the game and took home the win 31-17. “I hope this ranks up there as one of the good memories," nurse Jacque Harris said.
