
Learn to Spot Storms in Wichita Falls Coming Up in February

Wichita Falls always takes severe weather seriously. March through June is primarily our peak severe storm season, but as we all know. Severe weather can strike at any time. Many of us turn to our local meteorologists when storms hit, but thanks to storm spotters throughout Texoma they make sure the public is informed when severe weather is rolling in.
Storm Spotter Training on Saturday February 7th
The National Weather Service, the Wichita County Office of Emergency Management, and the Wichita County SKYWARN are teaming up to train the public on what to look for when severe weather is rolling in. The event will happen at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall, located at 1000 5th Street. The event starts at 9AM and is expected to last around three hours.
