Rebranding of ‘Risqué’ Convenience Stores in Oklahoma Almost Complete
A popular convenience store chain with 40 locations in Oklahoma is being rebranded with a less “risqué” name.
Look – I've never claimed to be the most mature individual on the planet. I like to joke about the eternal 15-year-old inside of me. I can’t help it that all these years later I still get a kick out of potty humor.
So, I’ll go ahead and admit right in here in front of God and everybody that I used to chuckle every time I passed a Kum & Go convenience store on my way to Rocklahoma back in the early 2010s.

I always figured the person who came up with the name was as innocent as can be and didn’t realize the sexual connotations of Kum & Go. Either that or they were 100% aware of what they were doing and were having a little fun.
If they were, in fact, having a little fun, the shenanigans have almost run their course.
In 2023, Maverik bought Kum & Go and decided to rebrand them to their much safer moniker. No more jokes about purchasing dirty deeds on the fly or how it’s the ideal place for a man in search of pleasure without commitment.
According to Fox 23 News, the rebrand is almost complete in the Sooner State. Maverik expects all Oklahoma locations to be rebranded by March.
Better get those jokes in while you still can.
