Once again, I don't really know if anyone converts Marijuana to "hash" (a more potent form) anymore. I know people used to when pot wasn't as strong as it is now. I know some people make it into butter so they can bake it into food, but I haven't heard of street level "hash" in about 30 years.

Anyways, this is the wrong way for drug laws to go. If I lived in Oklahoma, I'd have to be stoned. It would be a mandatory part of my day. I would sit at home stoned and watch Comedy Central. Instead the Oklahoma legislature wants you to sit in prison and watch Comedy Central. That really doesn't make sense does it? Check out this quote:

The bill, House Bill 1798, creates a new felony of converting marijuana into hash. A first conviction could garner a $50,000 fine and prison sentence of two years to life. Second or subsequent convictions would net doubled penalties.

Here's the complete story from Stopthedrugwar.org (Lest you think the story is self-serving, I've actually confirmed the contents at several other places). Guys I'm really starting to wonder if there is ever going to be any common sense in our lifetime. Let's decriminalize weed and focus on violent crime. Weed is here, it was here before us, and it will be here after us. It's time to quit prosecuting people for their personal choices and how they spend their leisure time.

I am ready to vote Libertarian.
