Oklahoma State Basketball Player Dies After Team Workout

Sad news to report out of Stillwater, Oklahoma. 

A transfer student from Cape Fear Community College passed away yesterday afternoon at  Boone Pickens Stadium. Tyrek Coger, who was only 21 years old, just arrived at Oklahoma State on July 5th. He collapsed after the workout and was transported to the Stillwater Medical Center.

He was pronounced dead last night at 6:23. Medical examiners are saying Tyrek died from heat exhaustion. Tyrek was excited to be playing play for Oklahoma State in his first year at the school. No word yet on an investigation into the practice.
