We will see if this passes in February.

Senators Nathan Damn and Marty Quinn in Oklahoma will be proposing a new bill next year to rename a thirteen mile stretch of Route 66 to President Donald J. Trump Highway. The section stretched from Miami through Commerce to the Industrial Parkway in Ottowa County.

If this does pass, it will not cost the taxpayers anything. The Senate and co-authors of the bill will cover the cost in the change of signage down the highway. “We feel like this is a perfect opportunity to commemorate the great impact his leadership has had on improving the economy and bringing jobs and commerce back to our great state,” Dahm told KOKH. Dahm also shared a photo of what the sign could look like, which you can see above.
