
Elderly Woman Assaulted in Wichita Falls, Texas for Watching Trump’s Inauguration
A Wichita Falls woman was suddenly assaulted simply for watching Donald Trump become the 47th President of the United States.

Videos like the one seemed above were going viral for that Inauguration Day back in 2017. Turns out for his second inauguration, things were not so quiet here in Wichita Falls. A 77-year-old woman was simply watching the Inauguration on TV when she was assaulted by her son.
Micheal Joseph York Assaults Mother for Watching Trump Inauguration
According to the arrest affidavit, York was upset that the inauguration was on TV. He told his mom, "He's not my President" and then grabbed the TV remote and launched it at his mother's head. If that was not enough, he allegedly began punching her in the face. Once he was done, the victim fled to another house to call 911. When police arrived, they noticed a large area of swelling from the middle of the victim’s left eyebrow extending to the edge of her eyebrow, as well as redness on the victim’s left cheek and left collar bone area.
Michael Joseph York Charged with Injury to a Child, Elderly, or Disabled Individual
According to the victim, her son was released from prison not too long ago and had been staying with her. According to her, she has never seen her son lose his temper like this. Michael York is currently being held on a $100,000 bond in the Wichita County Jail.
