Wild North Texas Police Chase Ends With Epic Takedown
A guy driving a car with a bum front wheel attempted to outrun police in Mesquite during the early hours of the morning today.
I have to say some of the wildest police chases caught on video I’ve seen have come from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. And out of all the cities in DFW, Mesquite has the reputation of being one of the roughest.
Having lived in its neighboring city of Arlington, I can tell you the reputation is well earned. There’s just something about it that brings out the ruffians.

And those ruffians were out and about last night.
In a scene that could have been taken out of the legendary video game series Grand Theft Auto, we see a car with a broken front wheel sending sparks flying through the air as it speeds away from the cops.
Eventually, the guy in the passenger seat attempts to jump out and hit the ground sprinting instead finds himself tumbling in the street before surrendering to the police. Shortly after, the driver stops and attempts to flee the scene on foot.
Alas, escape was not in the cards for the driver as he found himself on the receiving end of a hard takedown.
