Looks like Trent Reznor has not forgotten about the Ted Cruz drama.

You may remember back in 2018 a story came out about Ted Cruz trying to get on the guest list for a Nine Inch Nails concert. Trent Reznor asked the crowd at a Texas show who voted for Ted Cruz? He then said, "He might be here tonight. He was bugging to get on the guest list, and I told him to fuck off. We put him on a few years ago, he drank all the beer, and was just a pain in the ass to be around. So, I won’t, I won’t hold it against you.”

A lot of people then started asking Ted Cruz if this was real.."To all the gullible reporters who are 'reporting' that I asked to be on the guest list at a Nine Inch Nails concert: uh, no, NIN is not my music taste," Cruz tweeted, clearing the air. "He was clearly joking," the senator continued, noting, "And for the record, I also didn’t 'drink all his beer' the last time...but I would have!" He concluded the tweet with a hashtag "#FakeNews."

All these years later, you would think this story would disappear. Not so fast. If you go to the Nine Inch Nails store right now, you can buy merch from their 2020 tour that was supposed to happen, but was cancelled due to the coronavirus. The item description for the tote bag on the store says the following.

"From the 2020 Cold and Black and Infinite tour that never happened. Commemorate the memories you'll never forget. Every song we've ever written played every night. Tapeworm debut / reunion. Complimentary mango La Croix for everyone. Ted Cruz puking by the bus."

So if you want to relive those Nine Inch Nails memories, hit up the store and buy one today.
