Okay Jeff Walker, we get it - you're smarter than the rest of us. Then again, your insanely cerebral approach to lyric writing is what I love about Carcass. Well, that and the fact that Carcass are responsible for some of the best Death Metal in the history of all things heavy.

The band will serve up their first collection of sickness in over seventeen years when Surgical Steel arrives September 13 on Nuclear Blast Records and it can't arrive soon enough for this guy. Maybe it's because I'm getting old and morphing into a metal dinosaur, but there's just not a lot of new stuff that moves me the way bands like Carcass and the like did back in the 90's and early 00's.
