With Dez Bryant going down in week one, I guess T.O. thinks he has a shot. Sadly, I think his playing days are behind him.

I will admit, I was one of those fans that hated the Terrell Owens signing back in the day. After what he did to the star in that one game, when he played for the San Francisco 49ers, I hated him. Then he went to Philadelphia, so as a Cowboys fan I was gonna have to see him at least twice a year now. Then he came to Dallas and had pretty good couple of seasons.

I truly believe the double coverage that Owens received is what made Jason Witten a household name across the NFL and not just in Dallas. You move the safety over to cover Owens, middle of the field wide open for Witten. Worked every time back in the day. Well Owens wants those good times to continue.

Owens hasn't played in the NFL since 2010. He had nine touchdowns and almost 1,000 receiving yards that last year with the Bengals. He signed with the Seahawks in 2012, but didn't make the team after preseason. So should the Cowboys give him a shot? I say no.

The only wide receiver to play when they were 41 was Jerry Rice. I mean, come on, that's Jerry Rice. Arguably the greatest wide receiver of all time. Remember, Jerry was playing NFL football every year as well. Owens hasn't played in a regular season game in five years. I doubt it will happen.
