A recent study of U.S. suburbs found two Texas cities to be among the best. 

For my money, suburban living is the way to go if you work in a major metropolitan area. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the big city is totally worth the commute. 

Apparently, many people feel the same way as more than half of Americans live in suburbs.

Of course, some suburbs are better than others. If you’re reading this, you’re probably curious as to whether the place you call home is among the best. Read on to see if your home secured bragging rights. 

Using feedback from expert realtors and recent livability rankings, Travel and Leisure set out to determine the 10 best suburbs in the country. The Lone Star State was the only state to have more than one city in the Top 10.

Ranked Number 2 overall in the study, the Houston suburb boasts great amenities. Cinco Ranch is home to three lakes, 11 pools, more than 70 playgrounds, and 231 miles of hiking and biking trails. Families with teenage students find Cinco Ranch desirable due to its A+-rated high schools.

Located near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Coppell is an excellent choice for those who travel frequently for business or pleasure. The city is also ranked the third-best city for schools in Texas.
