Wovenwar ‘All Rise’ – Crank It or Yank It?

From the ashes of As I Lay Dying comes Wovenwar.

After the arrest of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis on murder-for-hire charges, the remaining members of the band chose to move forward with Oh, Sleeper vocalist Shane Blay.

A stark contrast to Lambesis' dirty vocals, Blay's clean vocal style brings a more melodic, accessible element to the band. Combine that with the top-notch musicianship As I Lay Dying were known for and Wovenwar have released a catchy track that'll certainly be polarizing among their former band's hardcore fan base but will likely gain a lotta new fans by getting airplay on more mainstream outlets like radio.
