Woman Arrested – But Not Before Ordering McDonald’s

I don't know about you, but I really like grabbing McDonald's when I'm on the go. Especially when it's an early morning and we're heading out of town... a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit is the perfect way to start a trip.

I'm not the only one who loves this fast food chain. Clearly, they're doing something right since they have restaurants dotting the entire planet.

A Florida woman is a big fan, as well. Roberta Spen was followed into a McDonald's parking lot this past week by police. The officer had noticed a malfunctioning tail light, so it would have simply been a ticket. Spen refused to acknowledge him, however, and proceeded to the drive thru.

After she had her food, she sped off out of the parking lot. I guess she was determined to have her grub.

The officer finally managed to get Spen to stop, but she wouldn't roll down her window more than an inch, and insisted she wasn't speeding. She also refused to hand over her license and registration. That's when she decided to take off again.

It ended when police finally blocked her, had to smash out her window, and dragged her out of the car. It's unclear as to whether or not she actually had a chance to eat the food she had just purchased prior to her arrest.

I'm just wondering why people are so dumb sometimes? When I get pulled over, the last thing I'd do would be to speed off. It's expensive to do car repairs, and I'd rather not be dragged out of a broken window.
