Watch the Kayak Waterfall Stunt That Put Bam Margera in the Hospital [VIDEO]

I’ve interviewed 'Jackass' star Bam Margera before and he is one of the coolest most laid-back kind of guys you’ll ever meet. I guess he’d have to have a little down time to do so many insane stunts. This is just the most recent stunt that put him in the hospital and on an operating table.

In this stunt he goes over an Oregon waterfall in a kayak with another guy. Bam obviously doesn’t know what he’s gotten himself into if you listen to the beginning of the video. He thought originally it was a distance in feet. So when the guide he was with told him 30, he thought it was feet. It was meters. So ,yeah, not 30 feet, 30 meters. 101 feet.

The impact at the bottom launched Bam into the water — and gave him a nasty hernia that required surgery.

He gave a big thumbs-up from his hospital bed, but he’s not ready to rumble just yet. In fact, he may need more surgery later this year.
