Thrash Heart Metal

I can't help it man...I've been obsessed with metal since I was fourteen years old when I first heard Metallica and I gotta say right now is an excellent time to be a metal fan. I've never seen so many quality releases in such a short period of time...everything from the totally unique "retro" sound of Ghost to the return of Crowbar and the all out badassity of Kvelertak it's enough to make a metalhead bust a nut. And there's plenty more to come look for releases from Havok, Obscura, Pentagram (oh hell yeah!) and a whole lot more here in the next few weeks. Here's a few of tunes I'm really diggin' these days:
