I’m not going to lie to you – I freaked out a little bit when I saw the video below of a mysterious object in the Dallas sky. For a moment, I thought aliens were revealing themselves to us.

Could This Be an Alien Encounter?

Then again, I have a bit of an obsession with aliens. I’ve always believed we’re not alone in this universe and that the truth would come out in my lifetime.

However, the object, which I later found out was spotted in many different parts of Texas, was the SpaceX Falcon 9. It makes sense, seeing as SpaceX is headquartered here in the Lone Star State.

Even though we dodged a bullet and it wasn’t an alien invasion, I can see how something like that could cause a panic – especially in the days before the internet. I mean, people commenting on the clip on X (formerly Twitter) were baffled by it.

But SpaceX is very transparent about its operations. A quick search online will reveal that the launch took place last night (December 8). So, calm down. Everything is going to be okay...for now, anyway.
