Video Shows Texas Drivers Raging in Austin Traffic

I get it – driving around our biggest cities here in Texas can be quite frustrating. However, it’s not worth getting a beatdown on the side of the road. 

I can’t help but laugh when I come across road rage videos like the one below. Because let’s face it, watching regular old Joes take their frustrations out on each other is funny.

What Pushes Drivers to Their Breaking Point?

The thing that’s baffling to me is the fact that I’ve felt that kind of anger while in traffic, but never to the point of getting out of my vehicle to throw blows with someone. It makes me wonder what led to the situation escalating to the point of someone lashing out.

In the case of the video below, it’s obvious that one driver refused to let the other driver merge. But why? If the driver attempting to merge pulled the jerk move of using the turn lane to get around traffic that was backed up at the light, I don’t blame them. The guy needs to wait his turn just like everyone else. 

However, I can only speculate as to what led to the road rage incident. All I know is that it’s better that it happened to them than me. I don't want any part of that nonsense.
